Hi Kristina,
Yes - I thought about taking the group out of the default permissions for th
epage and adding individual users - time consuming but possible (would be
easier if the permission list for the page could be added by csv as course
lists are usually available). What I didn't think that
Hi Kristina,
I've actually moved on to a new role, but the issue would still be of value to
my previous institution.
The groups were created manually and until I attempted to add users in this way
they had all been added via the mahara members interface within each group -
which is time
Thanks Kristina,
That's useful to know - will make any amendments like this much easier in
future.
Would still be nice to do it from the admin interface for one-off changes, but
this is workable.

Hi Kristina,
I'm on 1.6 at the moment. When I go to the settings page it only displays the
site default as an option - but if it's supposed to display all available
themes installed on the site (as it does for normal pages) then I guess an

Since I received this notification yesterday, I decided to test the issue since
we have recently upgraded to 1.6 I believe it may no longer be an issue -
it's OK in Internet Explorer 8 and Firefox 19. I'll check some other browsers
and report back.

Okay, I see what's going on. The group.urlid column in the database has
a uniqueness constraint on it. But, it's also NULLable, and even with a
uniqueness constraint in place, it's okay to have multiple rows with
NULL values.
But, the way the code's written, when you activate cleanurl mode, and
I've now tested in IE9 and Firefox 20 and no longer see this issue
arising.

It would be nice if we could have an email button in a group, where
one member can click email and send a message to all of its members.

Hello Gordon,
Yes, it would make things easier if you didn't have to upload a CSV
file. That's why I kept the item on the tracker as wishlist item.

I was unable to replicate, but I did notice a warning generated on line
930 htdocs/blocktype/lib.php as Gregor described, which is caused
because the placeholder elements returned by license_form_el_advanced()
and license_form_el_basic() don't have a 'type' key. For me, the
