Thanks, I'll try that and see how it goes.

Hey ho, I tried that and the response was basically "prove that you own
all the IP addresses and we'll delete it for you". Totally missing the
point that I want it deleted because I *don't* own all the IP addresses
any more or I'd delete it myself. (Or split the feed into two feeds with
the different IP addresses accessible by different feed users as
appropriate, and the IP addresses owned by neither feed user removed)

Is there any contact at Microsoft who can use a bit of logic and common
sense in their replies? (Michael Wise, can you help at all?)

The feed has 2 IP addresses "owned" by my company (WHOIS shows it owned
by Daisy Communications, but we have a /26 from them), one owned by
IOMart, one owned by Zen Internet and five owned by Digital Ocean. So,
no one person is going to be able to prove that they own all the IP
addresses. I no longer have access to the addresses owned by IOMart or
Zen and three of those owned by Digital Ocean, so I can't reclaim access
to those and them remove them from the JMRP.

It just seems to be broken with no permissible way to fix it.

Re: [mailop] Microsoft JMRP problem

2019-12-03 Thread Support 3Hound via mailop

Hi Paul,
some years ago, I got the same issue when the company changed
datacenter/IPs space after a period where both feed/ip space was used.
I don't remember some details but I solved reactivating the access for a
part of the OLD IPsĀ  (the part that has been removed) so I got back
access to the whole IP space, than I created a new account for the new
IPs and I removed both the IP spaces from the old account, closing it.
(Both account was linked to the same reporting address for a while).
Not sure but I think that it's due to the merging between previous
feed/IP space (in the period when it was to be requested by
e-mail/form), and new feed/IP space activated after it has been switched
to "self service" under SNDS panel.

So if you have access to the old IP space mailbox yet, you can try to
temporary reactivate it in order to get back a "writable account" ans
then switch to a total new SNDS/JMRP account.

Not sure it works for your case but... give it a try...

Bye,
Stefano

I seem to have broken it... I added various DigitalOcean IP addresses
that we used to the SNDS and JMRP and all was fine. Then I added
various of our leased line IP addresses to the SNDS and JMRP and all
was fine.

Then, we stopped using DigitalOcean as much, so removed those IP
addresses from SNDS, and now it's all broken. The problem is that it
doesn't seem to have removed those IP addresses from JMRP, so now *we*
have 'view only' access to the JMRP feed (because we don't have access
to the DigitalOcean IP addresses) and DigitalOcean also only have
'view only' access to the JMRP feed (because they don't have access to
our IP addresses)...

So *no one* can manage the feed, because no one has access to all the
IP addresses. I'm down as the 'contact email address' for the feed,
but can't delete it or remove the unwanted IP addresses from it.

I've trawled the SNDS pages looking for who to contact for problems
with it, but all it seems to say is "it's fully automated so do it all
yourself" - I wish I could...
