Does anyone have experience with standard Mil Survey ASRP raster mapping in MapInfo?
How would you suggest going about doing this?
If you e-mail directly to me I will summarize..
Thanks!

Brad,
Try Red Hen Systems. Their tool -VMS (Video Mapping System) uses a
gps and a digital camcorder. They have several versions of software to map
locations and correlate them to video clips. I've used it and it worked
great for surveying locations.

Hi,
Is there an automatic way of reversing colours in
the legend (thematic mapping)?
Usually light green means less concentration and
dark one means more concentration. I would like to reverse this.
Obviously, I can customise the legend on my own,
but I am looking for easy solution.
Hello Jacques,
Interestingly, your program stops at 309 on Pro v4.5, suggesting that the
limit was raised in latter versions. The limit has never caused me much of a
problem. Most tasks can be broken down or redesigned to accommodate the
restriction.

I am trying to open two tables that a both in the same projection (UTM 1927, Zone 18)
and that should be in the same geographical space. However, when I open them they come
up in two different windows. I thought that meant they were in different projections.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

Does anyone recall an article outlining the creation of

Dear fellow MI users:
I am unable to create a PDF file of a map with dimensions of 36" x 75"
from a MI5.5 file. I am using Acrobat 4.0.
What I found was the full layout would not convert to a PDF file.
Rather, no matter what we tried, when Acrobat 4.0 was invoked, the
layout reverted to 8.5" x
Hello fellow MI users:
We are contouring geophysical data with Rockworks99 and hope to get a

Using Rockworks99, both the EZ mapper and gridded files produce suitable
Hi Jeff -
It sounds like you need to use a postscript driver (available from Adobe
free) and PPD file that supports E-size output, like the HP650C or 750C
driver (the PPD is also available from Adobe's site). I am using the Adobe
HP650C PS driver on NT4 SP6a with FreePDF

Hi, Bob,
If you are using MI 6.0, try the "OpenDBMS" to connect to Oracle 8.1.5 /8.1.6.

Or you have to use some translation tools like FME.
