Yeah there was a fuel leak out of a round cover on the wing. Bad gasket or loose screws I guess. Not a huge leak, but a noticeable trickle. Based on the stains on the wing it looked like it had been ongoing for some time. Now that I think about it, it was an American MD-80, not Delta.

Well considering they work and the ground strap is definitely disconnected then they must be parallel plugs. The wires are all the same size, at the insulation they're about 1/4 diameter... So maybe with larger wires (or proper parallel wires) they'd heat faster anyway? Interesting. I think

Yes, you can remove the bottom oil pan. Messy, but should work. You can also pull the #1 prechamber and use something like a coat hanger wire to determine when the piston is at TDC. Even just pulling the injector or glow plug should let you know if you are close. Stops blowing and
