Of course I know what telnet is! Remember, I'm from RS232 days.
Why would it use telnet to connect to the Internet?

Next time, get a MAP/Oxy torch, heat up those arms (around the ball joint)
tell they just glow, and the ball joints pop right out like butter. I used
that procedure on the last set of 124 ball joints, I actually used a big

A good hose shop will have all the right stuff to remove the crimp and save
the fitting.
They will also have the right hose to make up a replacement, and crimp it
properly.
The crimp sleeve will be cut off and the barbed feral inside the hose
saved, undamaged.
A new proper sized crimp sleeve

Looks like patience is the answer, Parks doesn't have the banjo fitting. Now
do I special order an aftermarket part or a dealer part, or try Napa when they
open next week.

I hit a bit of a setback this week trying to find the time to work, but I
was back at it last night and today. I finished pulling the old bushings
out of the control arms and subframe. I ended up burning the last two out,
worked like a charm. I then sand blasted, primed, and painted the arms.
Bravo to the carver!

Unfortunately, airplane air speed and wheel speed, driven by a turbine
device at the rim diameter would not directly relate to a controlled speed
limit...

I think the ferrule on my fittings was originally part of the fitting, and the
deformed part of the ferrule became the "barbs" that held the hose in place.
I'll need either new fittings / custom made hose assembly, or be patient and
wait for delivery of the part.

After noticing that most jet aircraft have flat bottoms, and how often planes
overshoot runways, I thought of attaching something like brake lining to the
bottom of jets and attaching the bottom to hydraulic shock absorbers which
would lower the friction material covered bottom before landing.

It looks like Max's fitting requires a bottomless ferrule which goes over the
hose and the flange at the back of the fitting, then the crimper has to form
the end of the ferrule around

Thanks Craig.
Parks auto parts has a guy whose supposed to start work at 7 this evening,
apparently he can make a new line if he has the proper fittings. They won't
reuse my fittings. While I wait, I'm going to try to bodge up a fix with new
line and Oetiker clamps on my old fittings.

Max rpm should be a function of airspeed.
There's already a limit on the airspeed at which you can drop wheels...
So I’m putting this new water pump on, this is not a particularly
straightforward job, had to remove radiator which has its own set of issues.
And the monkeys who put it back together after whatever wrecks it has had left
out a few parts, but that’s done.

I diddled with
Your local hydraulic shop can crimp a new hose on for you with the same type of
fitting. Had a fuel line for the TE made that way as the replacements failed
in a few weeks. Ditto for AC hoses by the way.

Great thought. Now design the entire system without adding one ounce of
weight or another system that can fail to the aircraft. oops being
an aircraft, you need to also have a "redundant system" so if one wheel
spin up fails, a fail safe system can take over... can't have one wheel set
Depending on your state, you could also contact the consumer affairs
office/insurance commissioner if there's an impasse. Unless there are six
figures' worth of injury involved I would not bother with a personal
attorney b/c the fees will exceed the value of most potential claims.
On Sat, Sep 1,
Build brushless motors into the hubs.
Power various aircraft functions while braking the plane, and use them to speed
match the wheels upon landing.
Call it hybrid drive technology and governments will mandate it whether it
makes sense in practice or not.

Back in the 70s when I worked as a summer intern at NASA Langley in the

tires. I had been flying for awhile at that point, and always cringed
at touchdown when I heard the tires squeal. Then being in the flight
