Wow. That’s really bad. That’s like a $2k car, maybe, not that I would pay
that, the seats look good.

I’ve got a couple “big” TVs in the FROG but shipping would probably be killer

I notice that the retro-gamers have some interest in CRT televisions,
but so far as I know a plasma TV is just as good as a CRT, so far
as that goes. A lack of latency and motion artifacts is the goal.
In direct view video there is CRT, plasma, LCD, and OLED. ALL
flat-panel TV's are either
Excellent!
Bummer about the 7mm vs. 8mm. I think I have both, as I’ve got a set of those
things. One of those, “Darn! I wish I had one of those!!” tools, for sure.
Bought them right after I got my first W140/M119.

I have what I believe is the 55” or 60” model of this in my garage in the FL
house. I rarely use it, more because I rarely work in that garage. It’s a
beautiful TV, built like the proverbial brick doghouse. Mine started ghosting

I think you told me that back when so I bought one of those spring drivers 7mm
but the nuts on the big hose clamps are 8mm. I just used a wobble extension and
a u-joint and oriented the clamp screws so I could put the socket on. That part
was actually fairly easy once I got the whole thing
I just realized - the key to R on the M119 MAF is a new boot and a 1/4” 7mm
socket on a long extension with a wobble. Or, if you want the purpose-built
tool that makes it easy-peasy (to tighten the clamps, that is) get one of the
7mm sockets on a long springy extension that can flex. Those make
2009 XC90. Bought it only because I knew the seller and he had cared for it
meticulously. It needed rear wheel bearings, he didn't want to spend the money,
and he gave me a good deal.
It's been a good car overall. Comfortable, well made, pretty easy to work on
overall. It's a two wheel drive
The cabin's CRT TV crapped out last month, and I had my son bring it
home. Zenith model B25A11Z. He said the vertical deflection shrank
down, and then there was a loud noise, black screen, and bad smell. I
don't want anything newer down there, as this one's nearly theft
proof, so I'd like to
I got the “new” ETA that was in the trunk of the car (eBay special from the PO)
on the car maybe 2-3 weeks ago. Today I got the MAF assembly on it which had me
cussing any German engineer who worked on the M119 design. Anyway I got it on.
Put a good battery in and after one sputter it fired
I know you have referred to the Volvo previously, but I don't recall all
of it. What year, and model is it, what mileage on it, and has it been a
good car?

When you are bent over working on this, just keep thinking about the
hourly rate the shop would be charging you, probably including to
repair this, even if they, like you, had inadvertently created the problem.

I found a wiring diagram, and I've been able to work out how to disassemble the
connector plug. The individual connectors were crimped on to the wires. The
crimp that was on the insulated part of the wire I can reopen, but the crimp
that actually made the connection is too flattened. I'm

Well I found the problem and it's the ham-fisted mechanic who was working on
the car (that's me).
The intake manifold runs down between the engine and the radiator and converges
at the throttle body which is near the bottom of the radiator. Hard to see
around it and hard to reach it from above
No negotiating, remember?

Pretty dark window tint, but it does make an otherwise boring car slightly more
attractive IMO.
