Had a funny one today. The electric boost limiting switch on my
83 300TD got stuck in the on position. That means it was not
allowing the ALDA to add extra fuel. How it got that way I have
no idea. My turbo has never done more then 8lbs of boost ever. I

That's about right with 30-50 ft trees all the way around. It's
all I need though. By the time I get from the north end of the
runway to the dome I am in the air and by the time I get to the
other end I'm at over 400 Ft and that's not even with max climb.

Interesting on the wet saw. I looked briefly at the Dewalts but not in
detail once I saw the price. Figured I could put up with $200
You obviously don't use it enough! :-)
I've gone through 4 of these in the same 10 years. Then again I
do a lot of welding which requires a lot of grinding, as well as
grinding of a lot of concrete with a rather heavy diamond cup.
Given all the use... make that abuse that they got I do not

Thanks for the complements and interest guys. It's been a long
job, much longer then I thought it would, but the end is in sight.
I'm building almost all of it by myself. Up to now the only
things subbed out were the slab, some of the outside finish
stucco on the window and door dormers, (so
I also bought one of those sawsalls about 3 years ago when they
first got them. It has held up very well in my dome construction
project.
As for the wet saws, the 10in ones which were on sale with coupon
at HF for around 220-230 are oddly enough the exact same thing
sold at HD branded DeWalt
Your lucky. I pay $0.12/kwh which is why I'm in the process of
putting in a 7.5kw solar array. That should under the conditions
around here and given the information gathered from their
previous installations for over 12 years by the company
installing it, give us just a bit more power then we
