kmi and again at 50kmi. They predicted he could go at least 50kmi
between changes (every 6 months rather than every month and a half). The
engine sump holds 12 gallons. He expects (with just a little luck) the
engine to go 1-1.5 million miles before it needs to be rebuilt.

what you've described, BUT if the big rubber seal inside the oil filter
were displaced when installed and finally failed - THAT COULD DO IT!
That's quite rare, but it has been reported.

You need the help of someone that understands THAT engine. Measure boost
at full load at 2000 rpm! Should be between 10-12 psi. Someone that
occasionally works on them may not really even know how to test the car.

mechanics suggest 60 or 90kmi. Won't hurt if you do it more often.

DEFROST is full heat. When the compressor comes on (will to dehumidify
the air) that will moderate the heat, but heat is still on full.
That's NOT a flaw - it's a feature.

difference becomes greater and greater.
