The 190DT is a blast to drive. Reasonably fast, nimble and comfortable.
Relatively easy to fix and parts are available.
I get about 30 in the winter and about 31.5 in the summer. 34 once when
I tooled along at 60 on cruise control.
With the correct tires 2950 rpm equals 80 mph. I
So it will get about the same as a 124 2.5. I bought it with a bad tranny but
the po just put it in and it quit again. it sounds like he did not get the
converter locked in and sheared off the pump tabs. Other that that it needs

Can you set it up in a drill press to hold alignment, and turn the chuck by
hand, maybe using a chuck key for a handle?
It can be fun to get a bottoming tap started straight by hand,, especially if

FYI - this isn't thte hole in the head - the pre-chamber is inserted into
the head, a locking ring holds in the head, and the injector screws into the
pre-chamber. I read the problem as being the injector holding htreads inside
the pre-chamber. I could have mis-read however.

in a 601.962.
Early 961 and 962's Up to engine #3837 are the same, different after.

Replace the pre-chamber.
They are not mild steel, and repairs will result in an injector
blowing out of the hold.

Wonky heater was lack of adequate vacuum at the water

The new shoes and the metal remains of the old were the same width.
The new rear disc/drum ( Ex Bent) were, as near as I could judge,
equal to the old and crusty ones. The new shoes fit snugly against
the backing plates, rusty though they are. My only area of concern is
the drum part

Quick question. Rebuilt the rear brakes on the 190DT (parts from
Rusty of course). All went well until it came to putting the discs
back on. The new shoes for the Emergency/parking/hand brakes seemed
