I've had better luck with Goodyear hoses; they fit MUCH better than the gates
ones, and look spot-on compared to dealer hoses.
Gates pre-formed hoses for some applications were off even 20 years ago (IIRC,
upper radiator hose for an 82 Ford LTD (midsize, not fullsize), 3800 V6.)

O'Reillys had them last summer, on the shelf. I didn't buy them,
though, so they might have come from somewhere else, but they were
not special order.

They did not have the heater hoses I was looking for in stock. Did the

Yup, but that was almost a year ago. Could have been from Napa or
AutoZone, too, as I said, I didn't buy them, just helped my buddy

Wouldn't that support the theory that the return hose should be larger?
The return hose is 5/8 and the supply is 11/16.

size/length/flexible/molded at NAPA. Just be sure to go to one that has a lot

Try some of the aftermarket custom houses, they are more likely than
McParts to have them. Quadtrack is good, there are others.
