sure thats a terrible thing. High school, contrary to some isn't all about
learning facts and schooling and whatnot, its largely about learning how to be
a person and deal with other people, some of whom (maybe many
I've found out in the last couple years that I'm better at math than I ever
thought I was provided I don't try to do it in base10. My brain seems to be
wired so that base2 (binary) makes a lot more sense to me.
Fortunately one of my classes has a module on calculating subnets so I get a

I think they taught alternate bases in 8th grade, but I'd been doing binary,
octal, and hex since I was about 9. My dad was a systems analyst, and I'd gone
through some introductory level
