Interesting:  Both springs were broken.  between 1/4 and 1/2 of bottom coil.   I have springs. The brake backing plates are rusted tight to the wheel carrier.  I am soaking them.  I had wheel carriers, but I guess last year when I cleaned out the shed, I junked them.  So I need brake backing

Legally, I believe that qualifies as a "Contract of Adhesion". Which is illegal and specifically forbidden. Both parties must be fully informed and freely enter into said contract... Failure to inform one party, or coerce entry, voids any contract. But, I only observe and judge, not advise. YMMV
