Hi All,
Yesterday I started changing all 4 rotors, pads and brake wear sensors on my
2004 320E 4Matic using Genuine Mercedes Parts. I ran into a few issues.
1 - I couldn't get the rotor screw out so I had to drill it off. Does anyone
know the screw and thread size so I can tap for a new
Robert,
I’m not aware of multiple wear sensors, but I guess there could be. Not sure
what the value of that is…
I realize this is after the fact, but for the future, any time you replace
rotors, buy a set of retaining screws, as they’re cheap and I’m sure your
dealer stocks them.

My Jetta is a MK5. Angie's Golf is a MK4 but its a 1.9l TDI. The 1.8T is the

I got this cab listed at $3500 firm. Seems like a good deal to me. Got a guy
wanting to wire me the money. I have to get back home first. Had somebody
message me last night asking if it is available. Ad clearly states if it’s
listed it’s still available. I let them know at the moment it is but
I love the idea that he would approach you and then expect you to basically
give it to him. When he said $500 I'd have countered with $3000 for wasting my
time...

That’s the response I use when I get a stupid low offer on something on CL or

But think of all the blessings you would get, Bob!

I’m calling this political mainly because the vehicle is from Jess Weber, but
also because the subject is one of great debate and has already been discussed

This Doc makes some good points. I'll summarize.
1) For children, far more are dying from seasonal flu than from the Wuhan
Red Death (aka coronavirus). Let me repeat that: Deaths from seasonal flu
FAR EXCEED deaths from WRD in the pediatric population. This is important,

The thing had a $1800 buy it now on it. I threw a $600 max bid on it
for the hell of it never expecting it to be the high bidder or the
seller to take it. The last one I saw on there had no mention of it
running and was not in near as good of shape and it sold for $1300
before fees.

How do you”accidentally” buy something on CoPart? Did your finger slip on the
mouse button and inadvertently click on the “Bid” button?
Looks halfway decent for the $1000 you’re going to drop all-in with fees except
for the golf ball sized ding in the trunk lid.

I have all of my insurance thru USAA, 2 houses, 4-5 cars etc. The
insurance for our primary house is escrowed and I have not checked on it
in a while. At one point both houses were around the same amount per
year, low to mid $2k range. I just checked the policy online and was

I had family members who owned a Farmers agency and they even told me
they couldn't come close to USAA. That was years ago though.

I need to go back and see if I can tell when it went up. I have have
zero claims with them on this house. The ONLY claim I had on the other
house was about 8 years ago when a tree got blown down on the fence and
it was something like a $2k claim. I can only think of about 1 auto
claim with

I might have to look into State Farm. Just did an online quote and it
ranged from a LOT cheaper to a little cheaper depending on deductible.
With about the same deductible we have now its about $1200 a year
cheaper. With a much lower deductible its about $1k per year cheaper.
I need to
What an awesome checklist. I may steal it.

I ran a couple of online quotes and cheapest I came up with so far was
Liberty Mutual. It was around $600-$1k cheaper depending on
deductible. I have not tried State Farm yet. The problem is USAA and
all these others put a rebuild value WAY higher than what we paid and
what I figure the
Your house is in tornado alley and now, also earthquake central... USAA is
hedging their bets, looks like.
Give State Farm a try for a quote... They gave me a great deal that
combined house and car insurance.
House is $1,300 and change, and a low use Mercedes for $46 each 6 months.
