Jim - Not sure where 'here' is for you [poor memory] but swamp coolers don't work so well here. 7 people in the house/apartment [and a hundred # dog] plus two AC's, two water heaters, refrigerators, stoves, sets of TV's and computers, etc - $37 wouldn't even cover it if weren't home for the month.

I am looking at an absolutely ridiculous electric bill for last month. I used the same amount of electricity as the same month last year, but my bill is much higher due a fuel surcharge. A normal Summer electric bill for the house and apartment would be under $400, this year it is $525. I assume
