That little SUV is nearly the price of my well-equipped Sprinter! MSRP was 63K,
and could be had with a few more options fully decked out at 66K. 4Matic adds
$9K on top of that. I’m glad that I got the Diesel with 190HP and 325LB/Ft
torque compared to that same 4 cylinder gasser. If it’s not qui
uld go for one of these things. I couldn't see it at $60k though.

Attaboy! That is so nice to hear when a good, old Mercedes can be saved. I’ve
got Hildegard up on ramps and ready to do the engine mounts. I’m planning to do
the fan shroud replacement afterward since I won’t have to worry about fan
blade clearance when I jack up the engine without the shroud in

I decided to tackle the engine mounts on Hildegard. It took a bit of persuasion
to get the passenger’s side lower bolt loose, but after a little “rattle
wrench” action and some more ratcheting, it broke loose! Then, I was able to
jack up the engine and remove the heat shields wit
I don’t smoke, and I wouldn’t want to lick the engine in my 240D since it’s
oily!!! OTOH, if you have a taste for oil, I need my engine cleaned!
I’m going to finish the engine mounts today since I now have a u-joint
extension for easier accessibility of the top bolts.

Hello listers. I’ve spent about 5 hours working on this tired 240D. It has oil
leaking from the rear main seal, and the valve cover and oil separator have
been blowing oil all over the engine! I did replace the VC gasket when I did
the valve adjustment. The major situation is that the passenger’

My dad and I had a 1962 Corvair Monza Convertible and a 1964 Greenbrier van,
both unrestored in drivable condition. we drove both of them all around Central
Oregon. The only problem we ever had with either one was the spline on one of
the rear axles on the Convertible which wore out. Fun times!!

The thing I really like about our central vacuum is that it exhausts outside
the house! It is a bit of a chore dealing with a hose, but I am OK with that. I
had an issue where my powerhead clogged up with dog hair that got sucked up
behind a napkin which got stuck in the pivot point on the power
Congrats! How many miles are on it? The tune sounds intriguing, I’ve been
thinking about having it done to my 2015 Beetle TDI Convertible, but we have
emissions testing. Does the tune affect emissions?.

At speed, you can hardly hear the engine in my 2015 Beetle TDI! We found the
speedo over 100mph without even realizing it. It lead to a speeding ticket on
the trip home from purchasing it in Houston. It has been dubbed “The Speedle.”
