A friend needed to borrow a VOM and I took one of my many $2.99 Harbor
Freight units over and told him to keep it. He said while you are here, I
need to get rid of some 124 parts left over from his once owned 300E. So I
get four wheels with a fair amount of the Michelin rubber still
there.

Success, it started working at about push number 30. I applied Deoxit into
all the cracks and I'm back in working order.
