The wheelbase is longer but why would the trunk lid be different? Because the trunk is bigger. -- Jim ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

Front end of the car is the same, rear is not usable much for body parts. Interior is sort of swappable. Seats work if you can hook up the vac lines. Doors are almost the same. Door cards work for both. Rear suspension is not the same. The idea is to have a screw around car that I do not need to learn all manner of parts and spec to keep on the road clay 2002 s430 - Victor, a Stately & well tailored chap 1974 450sl - Frosch - Two tone green 1976 300D - Blei Vanst - it looks silvery 1972 220D - Gump - She was green, simple and ran 1995 E300D - Gave her life to save me against a Dame in a SUV POS 1987 SDL - Beware Nigerian Scammers On Aug 31, 2015, at 4:13 AM, Max Dillon via Mercedes wrote: > However, I think most body parts are different between SL and SLC? I just need one to screw around with. Three would irk the neighbors. Three non running cars would really cook my goose. The wagon would be good for hauling parts and home repair items The SLC would allow me to compare the topless v. not topless. I could also rally the SLC. Having a twin allows me to source parts for both and take up half the shelf space on spares. You should buy all three and corral them inside an oversized kennel.
