I am really amazed at the visibility the R107 has with the top down.
Sitting in a few other newer drop tops, the rear is too high to see
out of.
Yeah, it's stunning. Everything else looks like
a cat in heat by comparison.

There were far too many black on black opportunities. Victor has a parchment
interior on black. Seats are pierced leather and could probably be retrofitted
to fan cooled. Early w220 had the seats, the w210s do not.

Seems the consensus is that the w140 is the way to go, even though (at least to

Yup, the rear view from the Pasat is not as good as the 124s it replaced,
but might be a bit better than the new C class we drove last year before
buying the Passat.
