In the late 60's my mom was buying raw milk from a local farm. It came in large-mouthed gallon glass jars, of the mayonnaise or pickles variety. Not robust enough for commercial use, for sure. IIRC glass milk bottles are more like hollow bowling pins, and nearly as stout. -- Jim
