If you are "one of them" it does make a difference. My stepmother knew
everyone on the Coast and all the important ones in Memphis and Oxford. So, as
long I can make a connection with somebody who knew my Stepmother, I was

Technically there is not _any_ octane in alcohol! Same as with propane
engines,
there is an octane _equivalent_ of the fuel, which is what is reported.
