A friend of mine is considering a W210. His elderly neighbor has it. Spotless
but hasn’t been driven much. 10 year old gas in it. He asked me if it was
worth it. The only things I remember is most people like the 124 and they skip
right over to the 211.
The 210 has all the weird rust proble

Both you and Dan referred to it as the Camry of Mercedes. I guess I didn’t
realize that they had a hood reputation. I’m assuming by “Camry” you both
mean “reliable and dependable” and a little boring. That’s what I think of a
Camry — very hard to beat, but sort of bland in a very no nonsense
Any particular areas of concern on these? I have wanted a wagon for a long time. But, the 123 Wagons cost a fortune. The 124 diesel wagon is the same. The 300TE Is hard to find. And anything recent scares me because of all the tech and reliability. So, the 211 Wagons are good? I drove a loaner 2

I’m sure I’m not quite to the Martha level. But, this morning I washed, clay
barred, compounded (polish), and wax/sealed my 81 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. I
also got a new dual action orbital polisher and tried my hand at it.
I’m going to a car show with it tomorrow. Next weekend I’ll try the 124

What do steel suspension mean? They eliminated the air shocks? I was thinking
that’s a lot of miles, but then remembered this is 20 years old. Seems like a
lot of things have been rigged up.

Several years ago I flew on a King Air like this one several times from Wichita
to Liberal, Kansas. Instead of a 4.5 hour drive it was an hour and 15 minute
flight. That’s a very nice plane. We had several lawyers with clients who were
more than willing to pay the cost instead of that much driv
Yep, I’ve known a few lawyers that bought a plane thinking it will save them
money. Most sell the plane within a year. One guy upgraded all the avionics
and spent $100,000. I think he felt lucky a year later for what he paid for it
(minus hanger fees).

My neighborhood has a LOT of very large and old trees. Just this year the
power has gone out 5 times. We got pretty frustrated and decided to pull the
trigger on a whole generator that runs off natural gas that is coming into the
house anyway. It has an automatic switch and does everything on

Mine is a Generac. They said two years for the first oil change unless we run
it more than 200 hours. So, I guess that means every 200 hours or 2 years
whichever comes first.
