The nice thing about Holiday Inn now is they've got both Intercontinental and Kimpton under their umbrella. Last year I did a week in Miami (well Doral but...) at an Intercontinental. It was $20 more a night than a Holiday Inn but the customer wanted me to work a Sunday and it was the week

Hilton seems pretty desperate, they email me all the time with offers. Used to call a lot too trying to get me to buy a timeshare... Our corporate is Holiday Inn which is mostly what I use, I'm Spire Elite with them which is the top of their system. I'm silver with Hilton. I mostly only stay

In the early '90s Mercedes saw the error of their ways and allowed the gas transmissions to start in 1st. Cars built a year or two before 1st gear starts became standard COULD be converted (it was NOT a cheap conversion - required that the valve body be removed and some pieces replaced) but
