The nice thing about Holiday Inn now is they've got both Intercontinental and Kimpton under their umbrella. Last year I did a week in Miami (well Doral but...) at an Intercontinental. It was $20 more a night than a Holiday Inn but the customer wanted me to work a Sunday and it was the week

When I was traveling for business on domestic trips I tried to stick with Holiday Inn. The Express places were always pretty nice and Holiday Inn also had some spiffs with the airlines that would net you bonus points. Marriott and Hilton always cost more, so they were never an option unless
