Wish I was there. Sounds like it will be fun.

I was hesitant to write infinite, but you are correct (and I now
remember the instructor specifically saying infinite), the

Those movies were like the bad driver’s ed movies with the gory post crash
scenes. I had to take some of those classes at LLL as well when I was doing
work there. It was easier to certify as a contractor going to their classes
than doing it with a third party.
Semi-infinite?
The common term

Thanks.
I kind of like the cooler here, not so much the
cooler further up north.

couldn't even get the light smoke to ignite. I
think it was mostly steam from the water drying up.

It is diesel. I just filled it with water and then
emptied it a couple of times. Took out the
strainer, level sender and all the hoses. Saw just
a very light smoke coming out, probably due to the
water drying. No flames anywhere at any time.

The transformer basically suffered an insulation failure. Primary voltage was
probably being piped throughout the building, on wiring never designed to handle
that voltage. Briefly.

I was in a meat processing plant (wet environment) when the outside
transformer blew up (480 3 phase) Inside there was a huge flash of
horizontal lightning through pretty much the length of the building.
(In different rooms, about 300feet) Scared the crap out of everyone,
then darkness.
There’s nothing scarier (to me) than working on high voltage equipment when
it’s energized. It was rare, but on occasion I had to do it when I was working

I was telling Angie tonight I've just about finished my first two boxes of
steel shot 12ga shells. Last year I fired probably 25 shots and didn't hit
anything. This year is a bit better, 20 or so shots and I've bagged one duck
and two geese.
When you're as bad as I am a hit becomes a huge

Today it started out at 10F, but got up to 65F with lots of sunshine.

The green box is quite decorative, but I will give it a try anyway. Will

If so, time to seek a property tax reduction as your property value just
tumbled.

Brazing diesel tanks is not safe, either. I've done it, and it sucks.
My secret was to stuff a hose from the exhaust pipe of the lawn mower
into the filler neck. The fumes going into the tank wouldn't burn, but the
ones coming out the pinholes would light like little candles. Scary.
