What I would recommend you is just simple:
./configure
make
make install
of course you can use --prefix for specifying

If you would like to implement this proprietary extension in MICO, then
my bet is you need to start with poa.idl, poa_impl.h and poa_impl.cc
files. That's if you would like to use your Orbix application code
unchanged.

Hi,
in fact the patch provided is taken directly from MICO's source tree.
See MICO's darcs repository and search for this patch:

* fix possible _non_existent call DoS vulnerability (reported by
Christoph Becke
es know only what you provided in the corbaloc and corbaloc does
not provide any way how to assign some custom components values to it

side is to either pass the reference in a regular CORBA call or to write
the IOR to file and pa

operation register your policy factory on the received ORBInitInfo object)
In case of troubles, grep for ORBInit in the MICO sources for more
information about how

about this now, we will probably need to escape all IDL identifiers
which we're going to generate in IR DB saving code. If you have
developed a fix for this issue in the mean time, please also post it here.
Thanks for reporting the issue!

play with C++ compiler options (especially with optimizations), try to

del_profile will set it to NULL when it's deleted, and add_profile
does not set it even when it's adding the first profile. This seems
to me to be the cause of this problem, since a MIWCO bridge starts by
deleting all profiles from the IOR template.

ur protocol tag, etc. Please use latest snapshot, which is
here: http://www.mico.org/snapshots/mico-070521.tar.bz2 and if you install
darcs you will be able to use it (all darcs metadata are there) to
record your changes and then to send patches to us.

Franz,
what's your alpha platform exacly? i.e. OS, C++ compiler pair? This might
look like some issue with threading.
Also you probably need to imr create NameService before activating it. See
demo/poa/account-3 for more information.
Cheers,
Karel

Hi,
having only client and server is also possible while using POA. For the
beginning I would suggest to study demos in the mico/demo/poa directory.
It seems hello-1 or account-1 is the most easy for start.
Cheers,
