Ah, I see that now. Even so, having an Undo function in 2.x is still
wonderful news, and a number of us will be very happy for it whenever
it can be added. Thanks so much!

I agree that it would be counter-productive if a user could freely change
the grade on any card in the database.
However, it could be very helpful if the user could UNDO a grade immediately
after assigning it, for example if they hit the wrong grade by mistake and
want to backtrack. Enabling
I would love exactly this feature. not sure if it could be done with a
plugin or not, but I've misgraded cards many times and would love an undo.
I know it doesn't cause any long term damage, but being a obsessive grader,
it bugs me to know I've dirtied the data =)

Oh yes, an Undo. Gets my vote. I've often accidentally misgraded cards
and it just feels so wrong!

Hi,
If you're really passionate about that word, you can always the card and
create a new one with the same contents. Otherwise, I suggest you don't use
grade 5 so often. You can also experiment with using both 'active' cards

I would add another card with different contents that approaches the
information in a different way. For example, use a different image or font,
paraphrase the question, etc. It both increases the repetition of the
concept and forces you to remember it under different circumstances.

The only way to change the grade is through the review procedure. If
there were a way in the GUI to bypass/circumvent the grading
mechanism, that would rather defeat the purpose of it :-)
Taking a step backwards, why do you want to change the grade of a
card?

Hi and thanks for the reply.
I'm studying Japanese and I sometimes come across words that I have
marked as 4 or perhaps even 5 but when I come across it in a real
setting I find that I don't know it that well after all. Within
Mnemosyne I'm quite strict about grading and I wouldn't mark the word
