Re: [Mobile.AI] suggestion for buying new smartphone
Hi, KNFB reader is an OCR software which lets you convert text in to readable format from the printed material and immages. The software is currently available at 80% less cost (RS1500) from the actual prise on the playstore (Rs 6000). Please note that you will need a Creditcard/Google play coupon to buy this. Once installed, you can take the photo of any printed text or can open immages on your phone which have text such as Whatsap immages, PDF from your mails etc. and convert them to readable text. Though the software is quite capable of capturing text with 90-95% accuracy, good lighting, way of holding the phone, matter. Also, minimum of 5MP camera is recommended. The app also comes with a “Field of View report” which lets you find out if all corners of the page are visible to the camera. After practising for couple of times, you may gain confidence and will soon be able to capture good pics. Scanning books using mobile phone? Are you going to rely on KNFB reader for it? if yes, it won't be much helpful for you, as it will be time taking and cumbursom process to scan whole book using phone camera. If you are committed to it, you can purchase any phone which has more than 8 mp camera, as the recognition quality depends upon the OCR engen and not on the phone camera, provided phone camera is able to take clear picture, and 8 mp camera is fine for it. So you can purchase any Moto, Sony, Xiaomi, LG or Opo phones, I don't recommend anyone to purchase Samsung, as it hangs too much using talkback. Re: [Mobile.AI] suggestion for buying new smartphone
I think, if you go for MotoG 4+ that would be a better choice as it has good cam and over all good and has 3 GB ram compare to 2 GB in the devices you mentioned and has quick charge technology included. Only problem could be that, it gets heated on continuous usage. Trust that helps. On 6/22/16, Umesha SE wrote: > Dear friends, > > I want to buy a smartphone.
