Hi all,
Anyone know exactly the history of the 2001 eye one sheets? When and where
produced, when and where used and if not, why not?
Thanks,
Phil

Unless items were signed by Jackson, or were owned (provenance), or
perhaps affiliated with him in some direct way... all the thousands
of mediocre posters, pictures, images, buttons, t shirts, etc are NOT
going to jump dramatically in price, because of his passing. the

In so far as Michael Jackson's CDs are sold out at all the major chains
and Amazon does a huge business in CDs, I say it's good salesmanship.
But I expect this of Amazon whose sole purpose is to make money. I
expect the news organizations to be better than this. News broadcasters

I'd definitely sell it NOW. I have no idea what it's worth but here's
where Ebay may be worth a shot. Put a reasonable reserve on the piece
and start it at the whorish sum of $0.99. FRANC

Jeff --- Over the long run, I think you're correct but in the short run,
I think you're not. Fans are purchasing Cds and other merchandize right
now because they are caught up in the media frenzy. In a year this won;t
be the case, so if I had any Jackson memorabilia, I'd try to sell it
now. FRANC
Hi, Franc, et.al., from Joe B in NOLA
I arrived at work at WWNO, the New Orleans National Public Radio affiliate,
thirty minutes ago. The first story following the news headlines was another
interview about MJ and his debts and who gets his royalties.
It goes on, Indy!! It goes on!

Ive been thinking about this same thing several nights... because I
think the answer is this
Stuff or material things really are a Joke... they just get transformed
into more stuff or turn to dust...
so in that respct all the michael stuff is just what he left behind as
his artform
As someone said, Anything you collect collects dust. FRANC

Since we have been talking about these two I thought I would pass along
something my wife mentioned. She said that Ryan O'Neal is already saddened by
the loss of his long time love but it is probably as hard on him that his wife
has been shadowed under Michael since their deaths. I know as

It's interesting, though, that ratings for prime-timd specials last night
(Friday) on several networks, were higher for Farrah's specials than for
Michael's specials. I would say that reflects the overkill on the Jackson
coverage.
It does speak well of the networks that they felt Farrah's
If I were Ryan O'Neal or a friend of the family, I would grateful for the
reduced media attention. Who needs prying reporters and empty tributes? I
would be chagrined only by being placed in the company certain figures who

im not saying that there isnt a bit of a frenzy as the purchase at
amazon (and im sure other retailers of photos, t shirts, buttons,
etc) are showing an upswing in sales of these items... i was simply
saying that just because someone might have some run of the mill

I was just about to praise Fox News, since they were actually
covering world events, but they just switched to covering Michael.
So, never mind.

I've decided to post this to the list. Interestingly enough with over

One more question.
Were they printed on standard one sheet paper of the time

cheaper),
approximate print runs (wilding runs can range from 500 to 5000 depending on
