have litho numbers, so that is a dead end. The way to surely date exactly
when in the 1940s those movies were re-released would be to check newspaper
archives to see when ads ran for them, but that would be very

The New York Times has a searchable archive available to subscribers. For the
tighter among us you can also search it and get a preview of the results to
get an idea if anything is there. Also, if they ran a review you can usually
read the entire thing for free.

found a theater ad, from a newspaper dated Feb 11, 1946, that shows
