From what I saw, people didn't seem to be holding onto their cash. Casablanca
material was incredible, esp. the $384,000 for the six-sheet, which has come up
a few times - but never fetching that price. (I remember Rudy Franchi
showcasing a poster in that format at a pre-sale preview in L.A.
Congratulations Grey! That KING KONG 3SH was a beauty. So many lovely

Unfortunately I missed the actual auction because of a conflict. But I
pulled up the auction today and there are numerous, maybe even the
majority of items, that did not meet their reserve price. At lea
the looks of it, it was quite a successful auction.

I was wondering the same thing. Perhaps it's the uncertainty of the times.
People may be holding on to cash.
I got my dream poster tonight for slightly less than the low estimate.
While it's likely the BP, taxes and shipping will bring it up to my
target price I was very happy with
Some gorgeous posters got some great prices like KING KONG but some others went
for less than half the estimate. Wonder why.
Hope MoPoers got what they wanted.
