Venturing out for a little New Year's birding was well worth it today.
Point Douglas Park in MN Prescott, Wisconsin yielded:
*Harlequin Duck* -1 male -just stunning. Moved over to Point Douglas about
4pm.
*Long-tailed* *Duck*-2 female/juveniles. Possible 3rd bird. Tough to sort
Black-headed Grosbeak - waited from 7:45 AM to 8:45 AM when it finally showed
up. Then it stuck around for 10 minutes and I got about a half a roll of film
on it in the cedar trees and in the bird bath drinking.
