Hey birders,
My Big Day Team (Andrew Krenz, Trent Robbins, Benji Inniger, and myself)
did a big day in Blue Earth County yesterday (21 May 2014). I wasn't sure

movement and the conditions were good Tuesday night for migration
and a White Crowned Sparrow to boot

Several vireos were singing loudly along Wirth Lake this morning.
No Purple Martins have yet arrived to take up residence in the new house we
erected for them. We've played attraction calls for two weeks several

After last spring, I thought it would be a couple of years before we had a
spring that matched that here in Carver County. Apparently I was wrong.

The shorebirds were on along the east-west section road that cuts through
the impoundment. Something scared up the flock (a saw a

While searching the impoundment this evening about 7:45pm, three White-faced
