I was driving back to my office this evening around 7:45am when I saw about 1,000 (not an exaggeration) American Crows roosting in the trees around B.F. Nelson Park. This is where NE Main St. turns into NE Marshall. It was an amazing sight nearly every tree in the area was dripping with crows.

Earlier today I posted about a Long-eared Owl and it appears that may have been a mis-ID'd bird. Unlike the Long-eared Owl I saw at Springbrook Nature Center this past spring, I did not get a photo of this bird. So I apologize to those who went looking for it and only found a Great Horned Owl.
