Linux XMMS/Mozilla sound/freeze

Hi. If I have XMMS playing a tune and enter a website with sound (or possibly just flash?) Mozilla freezes until I stop XMMS, releasing the sound resources. This must be a common problem, any workarounds? This is not an issue with other applications (ie. TV Card). Morten
