According to the state voter data base, there are at least 28 Thomas L.
Johnsons registered to vote in Minnesota. But there's only one Maria's
Cafe, the E. Franklin restaurant Jim Graham mentions. Fans of the
former Rick's Ol' Time Cafe, a place where Kingfielders lined up on
Saturday mornings

Who the hell cares if Tom L. Johnson (either of them) is a lobbyist (besides
D. Piehl)? Some of my best friends are lobbyists! Others are in sales and
marketing... it's a fine line. Most of us do something for a living...

I get it that Dave Piehl doesn't like Tom Johnson or the project he is working on. And then I get it again. I am certain of it now. I suggest to Mr. Piehl that further bleating on the matter will make him more enemies than friends in the forum of public opinion.

I think the argument is over titles. Who cares whether
Tom Johnson is a registered lobbyist or not.
The fact is, he is a paid consultant for Smith Parker
which was hired by the Phillips Partnership to advise
THEM on transportation issues surrounding 35W and Lake
