Hello
There you will find a new version of EVA player for FAT16 that can
play EVAs bigger than 32Mb. A 200Mb EVA file was tested on MO and
worked right.
Good! But How I can create (store, write) my very very large EVA
files? I can write in partitions or the FAT16 still "read-only"?
BTW, I think Lynx is an ugly browser. It works very fast, but is a
little
limited.
Though very fit for MSX, because MSX-modems most of the time haven't got
that much bandwidth.
You're thinking about a 2400 bps modem. Using ACCNET, we can achieve
higher bit-rates.
No, I wasn't. I
High costs? Complex HW?
Hmmm, think of this, there are sony digital camera's that store your
pictures directly to floppy disk, compressed in JPEG.
Those camera's use a chip, capable of realtime JPEG compression. I don't
know about decompression, I haven't had the opportunity to examine the
Hi,
IF this is true.. and only IF.. because i can't see why ASCII want to
put money in developing a new MSX machine.. ( tell me )
Then : we must supply those guys with THE BEST stuff ever made
for GFX9000 and MoonSound .. so that they can somehow convince
ASCII that they do have a 'solid'

Hi
Many years ago a dutch magazine (MSX gids or MCM, I'm not sure which
one) held a game programming contest.
I can remember that the winner's games were to be published.
One of the winners was a game called: "The Lost Crown"
But I've never seen this game. Does anyone know what happened to it?
Hi,
I will work on it after I have finished a report and a paper for my study
(then I have holidays!). In the French version the End(-demo?) text is
totally
overwritten by stupid messages of the cracker (Martos) and the translator.
Therefore I asked Rieks to translate the original Japanese
Hi,
Hmm, funny, I just ran into that Bomulus game the other week. Strange game,
made by a Finnish programmer. I also found many more interesting games,
like Coaster Racer (by Sony, very nice!), Decathlon (Activision), Funky
Mouse (ZAP?), Cut Down, Peetan, Icicle Works, The Ice King, MapGame
Heheheh!
This is great! What's the price of MAT?
Keep it up, people!
(What does the Japanese text say?)

The game Gerald means was never released. I asked Wammes Witkop about it at
the Tilburg reunion, but (if I remember correctly) he doesn't know what
happened to it. Maybe you can tell us some more, Wammes? (Or freshen up my
memory!)
Wammes reads comp.sys.msx, not the MSX Mailinglist.

Windows sounds nice, but it's really terribly-written, and unpredictable.

That may be your opinion, but I cannot agree.
For everything you do you can define success in a different way.
For example for software, you can define success as profit. You can also
define it
