Is it possible to use CAS-files from 3 1/2 inch disk or harddisk on a
MSX?
If so, how?
What was the name of the program to run ROM-files on a Turbo-R with
Harddisk?
All the best wishes for 2006

Does anybody know how I can use both ATA IDE with CF adapter and Novaxis SCSI at the
same time? (in slotexpander)
I tried different possitions but the Novaxis is the only one that comes on.
When switching off the slot where novaxis is, then IDE comes on and boots.

bought Pimpkin Adventure 2, harddisk installer in Oss
lately. It took
a long time to put the game on the harddisk. After this I tried
to run the
game but after the Intro I got stuck on de question to insert
disk 2.
Whatever I tried, I can't get the game to continu.
Please help.

Sander, it seemes that you have WAY too much spare time! Why is anything for that fair
hidden for non MSX.ORG members? It's silly!
You are hiding MSX whilst you should SCREAM IT OF THE ROOFS that MSX IS ALIVE!

a different program?
I bought the Turbo-R with all this extra hardware and with loads of
MIDI-files on the harddisk, so I think there should be a way.
Please advise.

Is that Mega SCSI still a do-it-yourself thing? I mean you have to make

Or is it for sale somewhere? (I am not afraid to use a soldering iron, but
I don't know to mutch of electronics and nothing of making my own printed

I own a Gouda SCSI cartridge for my Turbo-R. In the list it was mentioned
that there exist a version of a ROM for it, witch makes it possible to boot
from any SCSI-ID.
Will someone sell me a ready made ROM? (or swap a cartridge with mine?)

Hi
I'm looking for a MSX-DOS2 cartridge.
It must be in good condition
I also
boot from a 20Mb harddisk, but there the ZIPdrive has SCSI ID 1, so it
succeeds the harddisk directly.
But that SCSI BIOS version 1.59 looks interresting: I have 2 ZIPS that are
bootable.
Can somebody tell me who could supply me with a ROM?
Thanks, Hapzee

I choose in the partition type selector, e.g.:

Can someone explain this?

Dynamic publisher works from harddisk. If you use the patched version, you can ESCape

I have tested the LS120 in my PC and I think it sucks bad!. The performance

slows down dramatically! It takes a long time for the drive to access the

I have Mega -Scsi and i want to test if you send me the program.
Oh,
Does anyone knows how to swap partitions so I can access the other
partitions om my hard- and Zip-drives?
I have a TurboR 1Gt with Gouda SCSI with Novaxis 1.51 rom.
on my 8250 with MK SCSI I use SWAP d:=id,pn
where d: is drive letter, id is SCSI-Id of the drive and pn is
partition number.
I have an OPL4 cartridge now and I am trying different programmes
that came with the deal on harddisk. I have found MSP.com on it to
play *.MID files. I don't hear a beep comming out of my MSX.
I think it plays through the MIDI port on the Phillips module or the
port on the Turbo R.

I have tried to use MAP to switch partitions from 1 SCSI drive to
another, but failed. The syntax I used was:
MAP D: 5 2
D: was the 3rd partition on a harddisk on SCSI Id 0 and I wanted it
to swap with 2nd partition on the ZIP-drive connected on SCSI-Id 5.
I think that the MAP.COM I have is not
