Is that a proper MSX mouse? If so it will work with my sampler, and I
would like it :)

MU-01 since my other MSXs are Yamaha (or Pioneer PX-7, but I
don't need a mouse for that, I have the tablet).
As long as it's a standard MSX mouse, it will work, and it will stop the
sample disks that have 'mouse' as controller from making the pointer
dash to one corner...

we can only take a look at pilot-link source code.
I'm sure many things can be re-used.
Where can I find this source code? I do have a Palm (IIIxe) and a
(Sunrise-type) serial port on my MSX. I'm still not sure WHAT data to
exchange between them, but it would be fun to make it work.

One of the instructions says that I should refer to

Quick look told me the hardware that Anikun is explaining, including the

I don't understand this PC-Mouse to MSX converter discussion: I have here in
front of me the REMOUSE made by The Bytewizards in Weerdinge (I think it is
in Drenthe in the nort-east part of Holland) It is a Serial PC Mouse to MSX
converter with an IR-receiver as an extra. It works fine, no

What are the specs for a MSX mouse
Maybe there ie a option to convert a PC mouse (like a logitec ps2 or serial)
to MSX standart
With a simpel 12c508 (or a nother PIC) or change the ic in the mouse to work
with MSX
and if the 12c508 option works a easy pc2 / msx port convertor can be
made

Well
MkII,
I'm seeking MSX mouse info (hardware, software, programming, interfacing, etc.)
We've developed a sexy multi-platform feature-packed mouse/trackball and
we'd like of course to include full MSX support.
If you can (it's very hard), contact Ademir Carchano.

How does the MSX mouse interface work ? It has something to do with Puls
Width after
it is triggered by the msx.?
What do you mean, in Basic or in Assembly?
If you r talking about Basic, read some nice book.
If you're talking about Assembly, read the articles in MiLC. Perfect source
In assembly, but what i am interested in is Electronics and the interface, not the
programming

Just in case you don't know: PSG is written to in the following way
