This is an issue that is to be expected when you are running Testing. It
will be repaired in a few weeks. If you run unstable, you will meet more
issues, but they will be resolved faster. If you don't want them, you
can run Stable or Ubuntu. The latter is out of the box better adapted

Hello all,
I'm using debian testing, updated via apt-get (update, dist-upgrade).
Evolution is 2.4.2.1, and Multisync is 0.82. I have used this setup for
months to synchronize my Sony Ericsson T616 with Evolution over
Bluetooth (phone book and appointment book).
I just completed a big debian upgra
Hi Dan,
In Gentoo terms it's release 0.83_pre20050414-r2, released 10 May 2005.
The multisync website says that Evo 2 support was added 27 Oct 2004 - look
here http://multisync.sourceforge.net/news.php - but you'll need to build
from CVS.
Cheers, Peter

Peter,
What version of Multisync are you using? The report was latest released
version .82 does not support a sync module that works with Evolution
2.0.
Thanks,
Dan

I was looking for the same thing : synchronisation with evolution-2.*.
I noticed that there's a new version of Gnome out, which has developer
documentation for the Evolution API's, probably exactly the ones we
need.
They're at http://www.gnome.org/projects/evolution/eplugins.shtml .

I'm syncing Opie on a 5500 and Evo 2 with no problem, on Gentoo. I had to
rebuild a few things when I upgraded from Evo 1.x to 2, sorry I can't
remember what, I think it was to do with the evolution-data-server.

What is the status of Multisync syncing Evolution 2.x with an Opie
Zaurus please?
The last time that combo worked was Evolution 1.4 and much has changed
since then.
Thanks,
Dan

Hello. I'm currently a unsatisfied syncer, running evolution 2 -
gnome-pilot - palm os 5. I get my pilot contacts into evolution and
vice-versa, but names get pretty messed up in the process. I believe
that's about evolution and palm, not about the conduit; however, I'd
like to know the multisyncer
Yes, but categories are already used in my environment.I do sync from GroupWise to WinCE, the account are sorted by categories named after the address books in GW. I don't have any influence on the names, as most address books are shared with other folks. Then syncing them from CE to Evo using mult

Hey there,
one question. I just recently bought a Sony Ericsson V600, works great
with the IML plugin. However, I soon realized the memory barrier of 510
entries in the phone.
Don't blame me ... :)

What happens when you do a 'ldd libevolution_sync.0.0.0'?
My guess is that it is missing libraries from the library path at runtime,
so the Evo plugin cannot be loaded. Find the libraries that cannot be
located and add them to your path with ldconfig and then try again.
Let us know if that hel
Hey everyone,
I've got exactly the same problem as Christian. I'm also running Suse
8.2 and installed evolution 1.4 and multisync using the rpm's.
The evolution plugin is the only one that isn't showing-up in the
drop-down list for creating/editing a sync pair.
Here's a list of the contents of /us
Hi,
I'm not a suse user myself, but at least I can try to give you some

I am really willing to change from MS to Linux and have already installed
SuSE 8.2 on my machine. Most everything works fine, but I have to use
Evolution as a compensation for MS Outlook. In addition, I own a Siemens S55
