The phone company (dsl) blessed me with a new router and
I'd love to replace the old smc.
There is no firewall apart from NAT, apparently. This
didn't bother me with the smc because it was my idea, but
the phone company has never given me anything before.
Am I inviting them into my lan?

Fair comment I'm sure but should that be an oeuf?
I can't see the point of a free OS if I have to pay fees to an
expensive club. At least with Win you only pay once.

Hi,
I have just installed Mandriva One on an old laptop and all seems OK-
even the USB WiFi adapter works!
I have a couple of essential Win progs that I must use (C-Map and
SeaTTY) so I am thinking of using Wine. Is 'One' the same as '2006' ?
Can I get it as a package for point and click install

What parts of SeaTTY are you using? Just the RTTY, the FAX, or are you
saving NAVTEX messages?

Hi Rick,
Usually I just use RTTY and Fax from Hamburg Deutscheseewetter.
