I've recently been debating splitting up my buckets, but not into
ordinary subcategories, more by:
1) necessary vs discretionary
2) periodic (>1mo) vs monthly
3) fixed vs variable
But I haven't yet decided. I've been tempted to go with #2 there,
just so I know which buckets I expect to have

I noticed that if you shrink down the account panel so it only shows a
few, then try to drag from one account to another to create a
transaction, it scrolls the list -way- too fast. It's impossible for
me to drag from my checking account to one of my middle of the list
accounts (a credit

I'm curious as to what bucket people put their tax prep fees in. I
generally have separate buckets for separate deductible transactions
(Medical, Education & Training, etc), but don't really have anything
this would fit into. Perhaps a misc deductions bucket?

Would it be possible for you to group the multiple transactions for a

I was thinking it would be useful for the completion when typing a
bucket name, to prefer unhidden buckets first. When you have multiple
bucket names beginning with what the user has typed, it would be nice

I had a future pending transaction, a deposit of $1250, with a date

At first, I didn't mind that splits only allow changes to category,
not payee.. but I'm finding it somewhat annoying when doing things
like deposits at a physical bank location. A single deposit slip,
with multiple checks being deposited, results in a single transaction

Ah! I thought I remembered seeing it somewhere, but lost it :) Will
that result in showing that transaction when selecting the month in
the graph, also, or does that show just the transactions that occurred
in that month? I could see it being a generally useful option rather

I noticed a little bug when reordering buckets. You can drag a button
above the top entry, to make it the top entry, but you can't drag a
bucket below the bottom entry, to make it the bottom entry. You have
to drag it to just above the bottom one, then drag the bottom one
above it. It's
I have a little feature suggestion for your next major release. I
think it'd be useful to allow the user to input a nonexistent bucket
name on a transaction, and within the error dialog, have a third
button, which lets you create that bucket, opening the bucket creation
dialog.

I've noticed that a deposit directly into an expense bucket is treated
as a positive value in the expense portion of the graph, rather than
positive in income. This makes sense, but on the other hand, I kind
of think of a deposit into an expense bucket as just a shortcut for a

I'd like to request a little feature for the spending plan. The

I'd like to suggest a couple little features for the usability of the
allocate income panel. I'm thinking that:
1) it'd be nice to be able to choose "None" under the Monthly Timing
dropdown, for income that's a windfall, and which you want to manually

I'm curious about the behavior of the bucket balances when you click

empty. I presume that's intended, but I could see it showing what the
balances were at the end of that month, also, which would make it easy

Quick Personal Evaluation of Cha-Ching, particularly as opposed to
