Boo! Curbishley out!
My feeling is Morgan will finish his housing project and then get the flock out
! He has no real interest in our club !

I can't think what else it could be but money that put Curbishley off
Really, the Prem is not a place to be tight with money. Morgan should find
a buyer if he hasn't got the stomach for it. Unless the FFP rules change
things there's little point trying to compete.

They haven't got a f-ckin clue.
Its the same as when we are trying to sign players...We aren't going
anywhere until they release the purse strings a little more...I bet our
water tight budget is what put Curbishley off.

It's looking more like Morgan had a bust up with Mick and lost his blob.
Good business sense that.

Not only second interviews but new people joining the race. I can only
think that Curbishley wasn't offered the funds to build a side capable of
staying up. Maybe the Prem is not for our owner?

If I wasn't a staunch WW fan this might be fun.
We've seen some excellent analysis in this forum over the last week or so
(thanks Matthew L especially).
I hope he's right about the lack of leaking and the press having to invent.
But I really think it's managerial incompetence that has us not

If clipboard leads us to victory on Saturday then he should keep the job until
the end of the season. We can then take our time to find the right candidate
based on whichever division we are in.

I honestly (foolishly?) believed that someone would have been sounded out
before Mick was sacked and that we'd have seen a quick turnaround. A good
opportunity to get someone in and have some extra time with the squad due to no
game last weekend has been missed. Maybe we won't see anyone before

Starting to get a little disheartened with the search for a new manager
now.
So much for good planning..
A new name mentioned every five minutes...we really haven't got a
clue...
Poyet, McDermott, Holloway, Clarke, Keane, Hughton, Bruce.not

What is annoying is Cubishley "ruling himself out". It's basically saying
I didn't get the job but I didn't want it anyway, so nobody thinks he go
overlooked

Interesting story about Olympique Lyon. They went from being a small town
club in the shadow of St Etienne to winning the French league 7 times back
to back in the 2000s. They did this feat with four different managers and
the view of the club is that the manager is a temaporary position but that
Presumably Curbishley said success was all about money and Morgan said well
we've got none and curbishley said no thanks then
Mick is bar far the best qualified candidate for this job

The M&Ms are looking like peanuts now.
How can Morgan and Curbishley not have the same vision for the club ???

I assume that contracts mean NOTHING in the managerial world.
.but a five year contract signed 5 months ago might mean something for
