And, your suggested method works well, too. My question is that is it able to define new itemize header, for example, circled number using \defineitemgroup so that I got circled number in the 3rd level automatically without saying that \startitemize[cnum]. In the wiki, \defineitemgroup[ltxitm][levels=5] % \setupitemgroup[ltxitm][1][1] \setupitemgroup[ltxitm][2][2] \setupitemgroup[ltxitm][3][3,packed] \setupitemgroup[ltxitm][4][4,packed] \setupitemgroup[ltxitm][5][5,packed] % I tried to define the third level with "cnum", but it is not working. Some official documents has their own numbering system. In that case, it is very convenient to define new itemgroup following its rule and forget defining the symbol for each level every time. Hence, it actually rotated 180 degree. Also two dominos rotated again when the third domino is drawn. Previous drawings are rotated again again when the function domino called. Dear Pontus, Marco, and Peter, Thank you for replies. I tested the following codes: 1) \startluacode if languages.current() == "kr" then context("Korean") else context("Not Korean") end \stopluacode 2) \doifelse\currentlanguage{en}{\def\lang{English}}{\def\lang{Not English}}\par currentlanguage: \lang are working well. Dear Wolfgang, Thank you for reminding me the thread. I also found it yesterday evening and it made me realize how dumb I am. I am so sorry to give you a needless work. I'd like to ask you one more. I was looking for a way to use some characters as an item head like \startitemize[a] because an official document usually use numbers and some characters as item heads. But for characters which are not listed consecutively, I don't know how to make it appear automatically. I may use \sym{} AC00, B098, B2E4, B77C, ... These are the same characters in the area 320E ~ 321B without parenthesis. Is it possible to make those characters appear automatically as item heads? I hope that it is not a silly question. Re: [NTG-context] font name has a space.
Dear Taco, Thank you for your comment. I renamed the font to ~.ttf, luatools --generate first. And try the same file. At this time, there is no "Fatal error messages", but still it doesn't locate the font file. So, I tested a few more things. Test 1: luatools locates all the fonts which has no space from the same font maker. And, LuaTeX runs well to yield fine output. Math-iMac:~ graph$ luatools 산돌돌CB.otf /Users/graph/Library/Fonts/산돌돌CB.otf Math-iMac:~ graph$ luatools 산돌명조B.otf /Users/graph/Library/Fonts/산돌명조B.otf ### Test 2: luatools cannot locate the fonts which has space from the same font maker. Math-iMac:~ graph$ luatools 산돌명조M.otf Math-iMac:~ graph$ luatools 산돌명조 M.otf Math-iMac:~ graph$ luatools 산돌명조\space M.otf But it locates the same file if I enclose "font name". Math-iMac:~ graph$ luatools "산돌명조 M.otf" /Users/graph/Library/Fonts/산돌명조 M.otf So I tired \definefont[testfont][file:"산돌명조 M.otf"], but LuaTeX issue an error system > begin file testmp.tex at line 29 ! I tested english font which has a space in its name and got the same results. For example, "Geogia Bold.ttf" font. luatools cannot locate it and LuaTeX said "unknown font." and used default font. I renamed it GeogiaBold.ttf in /Library/fonts and tried again, but not succeed. Hence, I think that the font whose name contains no space has no problem. The fonts whose name contains a space make a trouble eventhough I removed the space from it. Am I doing right? I am using Mac OSX. Re: [NTG-context] how to change 'figure 1.1' to '?? 1.1'
Dear Mojca and Wolfgang, I am sorry to give you a unclear question. We usually write the chapter title "(a character) (chapter no) (a character) (chapter title)" and I know how to set chapter title as above form using setuplabel or setuphead. Your methods give me more choices. Then the \completecontent and \completeindex follows the above setup of chapters. My question was how to make the head title setup of contents and of indices free from the chapter setup? Now, I find that the prefix{"(a character) (chapter no) (a character)"} can be suppressed using "prefix=no" parameter in \setupcombinedlist for contents and indices. It seems to me that we may define a new format for contents and indices by using "command" in \setupcombinedlist. I'll test it soon. If there is a sample file for this, please let me know. It is really hard for me to follow ConTeXt's power. Thank you for the replies. [NTG-context] many warnings after updating
Dear all, After updating ConTeXt via i-installer, I create the formats using texmfstart texexec --make en" texmfstart texexec --make --xtx en I tested several files which were compiled well under the previous version. But, I got so many warnings during the compiling. What do I have to do to resolve the problems? I am using TeXlive(not teTeX) under OS X 10.4. My installation is not changed except the ConTeXt. Thanks for reading. Re: [NTG-context] \hairline in the header and column rule
Dear Aditya Thank you for your tip. After adding the line "\setupbackgrounds[header][text] [bottomframe=on,topframe=on]", I got lines of whole length. However, [rule=on] option only draw vertical line as long as the paragraph not to the bottom. Please test once more using a short paragraph(3-4 lines) instead of \knuth. Thank you again.
