Wouldnt it be great to to have a modifier like shift to constrain in x and y. It was mentioned earlier, and it is the thing you sort of reach for, like a reflex. There are other places this kind of behaviour would be nice to have as well, like in the gridwarp node when you move points. Basically

Hello, We have run across a problem repeatedly and I thought it was worth throwing it out to the group. Using the exact same settings, Kronos just looks better out of Shake. We have played with color space thinking that it's like transform operations which look better when done in log space.

The Roto Brush in After Effects is the best, fastest and most adaptive i've seen. - import footage, - drag to new comp button, - double click layer, - select Roto Brush Tool, - paint very loose stroke near inner boundary of image object, - use Alt+stroke to remove selected background texture.
