Neat still gives better results for me. The new Denoise is generally pretty good but makes it look a bit like shakes median filter. Also it seems to get detail from the red and green channel and puts it in the blue channel (which I think neat might do too) which can change the colour values.

sounds like you got it, but just adding a little template I made to the thread. it depends on having a grid for the shot, and I know that's a luxury not many people have, but it does seem to be becoming more common. it zaps CA by undistorting, bumping the offending channels and then rewarping.

for the colorcorrect behaviour: if you used fusions colorwheel to change the color then you did a tinting. thats a diffrent method than changing the gain i tend to use the TMI (Temperature Magenta Intensity) sliders in nukes color tools. if go to a cooler (blue) tone it compensates the other
