this morning I found a Pine Siskin (perhaps
the same bird reported from the Ramble on the count) near Laupot Bridge with a
small flock of American Goldfinches. The three male Ring-necked Ducks continue
on the Reservoir.

Other ducks seen nearby: Gadwall, American Wigeon, American Black Duck,

Double-crested Cormorant – perched flyovers

Pileated Woodpecker – heard and saw characteristic oblong holes
Downy Woodpecker, Red-bellied Woodpecker
around with the Laughing Gulls on the beach,
which kept flying up because of all the foot traffic. Most of the gulls were
fairly close to the sand bar.
Also a small flock of Sanderlings and some Least Terns.
