I led my weekly NYC Audubon bird walk in Bryant Park this morning. Warblers were few, but sparrows were surprisingly diverse. The highlight was the presence of at least 3 Lincoln's Sparrows, a Swamp Sparrow, and an influx of White-throated Sparrows. Common Yellowthroats of various ages sexes

Hi all, A Connecticut Warbler was seen this morning by a few observers, including myself. The bird was in the fenced in area by ex Swampy Pin Oak. This is the area East of The Rustic Shelter, in the Ramble. Good luck if you go out and try for it. As always with this species, patience is required.

This afternoon around 4 PM there was a juvenile Olive-sided Flycatcher at the eastern end of the Cedar Beach Marina parking area, past the camper vans. I rarely see this bird in the fall, and it's my personal latest record by a couple of weeks. It quickly disappeared into the phrags. There were

Had the local pair of ravens at 10 Commerce Dr., New Rochelle, today low over the parking lot.  They were heading more or less towards the Shoprite along I-95.  Hadn't seen them in awhile.  I don't believe they nested on Main St. again.  Never saw them at there nest.   Andrew Andrew v. F.
