By doing this, you silence the warning that points you to a real error.
perl-URPM expects $p-description to contain the public key, and you
just set it to empty value:)

{cachedir}/partial/pubkey, tries to import /var/cache/urpmi/partial/pubkey

and function import_needed_pubkeys_from_file perl-URPM/URPM/Signature.pm is
called which returns 1 when pubkey matches gpg-pubkey from parse_pubkeys_
$db-traverse_tag('name', [ 'gpg-pubkey' ],

I think there is some issue with getting gpg-key from RPM db.
That's right - this is why $p-description becomes uninitialized. It
should contain description of 'gpg-pubkey' package, and this description
actually contains the public key (just launch 'rpm-qi gpg-pubkey' and
take a look at its description).

perl-URPM is intended to walk through all packages named 'gpg-pubkey'
(this is what db-traverse_tag should do) and extract public keys from
their descriptions. But for some reason, traverse_tag seems to fail or
at least not to extract package descriptions correctly. Maybe it simply
doesn't extact these descriptions or use some other name for the field?
Could you dump the whole contents of the '$p' hash for debug?

2014-04-01 Thread Tomasz Paweł Gajc
I was trying to dump %keys and it seems it is empty. Guess $p will be too.

I've also removed all /var/lib/rpm/__db* and run rpm --rebuilddb but without
any impact.

Things are getting weird...

It can be done, but what will we achieve ?
iso build scripts add repositories in the same way as local system, so this
error on iso build stage just indicates that urmi/urpmi is not working as
expected.
Please note, i am not saying that it is broken, there are some chances,
that it just looks for the key in the different ( compared to ROSA urpm )
way.

Sorry to say this but issue is observable since beta release. And there
were no changes to urpmi code and frineds.
When building ISO in ABF we get this:

to check if this key is imported on your installation, and in case it is
not, check the whole procedure of adding the repository.

It looks like perl-URPM doesn't find any packages with gpg-pubkey name.

Alex, can we add this query to iso build scripts just before repositories
 are added:

 rpm -qi gpg-pubkey

 ?

If they are really present, then it is possible that smth is wrong with
 perl-URPM.

No wonder key is not added :)

Sorry to say but above is not an issue :) Intializing $p-description //''
silences this warning

I've debugged a little bit.

First pubkey is being downloaded to /var/cache/urpmi/partial/pubkey by
function _download_pubkey from media.pm

Then _read_cachedir_pubkey is being started which examines the pubkey and
finally URPM::import_needed_pubkeys_from_file($db,$urpm-
{cachedir}/partial/pubkey, tries to import /var/cache/urpmi/partial/pubkey

and function import_needed_pubkeys_from_file perl-URPM/URPM/Signature.pm is
called which returns 1 when pubkey matches gpg-pubkey from parse_pubkeys_
$db-traverse_tag('name', [ 'gpg-pubkey' ],

I think there is some issue with getting gpg-key from RPM db.

rpm -q gpg-pubkey|sort
gpg-pubkey-bf81de15-51817942

Removed all gpg-keys
rpm -e --allmatches gpg-key

No keys are assigned to any repos.

The purpose of this is not to get it right for me. This is a fresh

That's what I'm reporting.
