 Subject: sdc integrate workflow designer

Hi Michael,

As we disccussed before, workflow designer will be integrated into sdc as a
button in top menu(see the image below).

This jira task is assigned to me. And I found this code is under
sdc/catalog-ui. could I just add a button to the top menu after 'CATALOG' or I
need to notice the one who is response for this component to integrate the
workflow designer?

Regards.

[onap-discuss] Schedule Changes for the Paris-Saclay Face to Face meeting - Thursday Sept: 28th

2017-09-27 Thread Phil Robb
Hello:

For those wanting to attend sessions at the Paris Saclay developer event
today, we have made some schedule changes from yesterday. To accommodate
the travel schedules of some of the Project Technical Leaders and TSC
members, we've moved the Amsterdam M4 Milestone review to begin at 10am CET
and run until 3pm CET with a break for lunch between 11:30am and 12:30pm
CET. For the full schedule please see the wiki page here:
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Agenda+for+M4+Review

To accommodate this change in the M4 timing, we've recently moved sessions
that had been in those slots to other times during the day. Please double
check the Event wiki page for updates on the Thursday sessions that you
want to attend.

https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/ONAP+Paris+Event+Schedule+September+25-28%2C+2017

Sorry for this last minute change.

Best,

Phil.

[onap-discuss] [ONAP Helpdesk #46322] [DMAAP] Jenkins Jobs Never Run

2017-09-27 Thread Jessica Wagantall via RT
Dear Varun,

https://jenkins.onap.org/view/dmaap/job/dmaap-messagerouter-docker-master-clm
- This is a job that runs once a week. It is scheduled to run on Saturday and
this job just got created yesterday. I have triggered manually for you, but
should be running on its own every week.

https://jenkins.onap.org/view/dmaap/job/dmaap-messagerouter-docker-docker-image-blessing/
- I was talking to Gildas about this, and we cannot run this job for now until
the projects fix the way they are versioning their artifacts. We need to be
using the following pattern:
--
until then, this template will probably fail to release..

https://jenkins.onap.org/view/CSIT/job/dmaap-master-verify-csit-mrpubsub
- This jobs should only get triggered when projects modify their CSIT test
suites in the integration repo. If they don’t make changes to their CSIT test
suites, then these jobs should not get triggered.

Let me know if this information helps you

[onap-discuss] [ONAP Helpdesk #46306] ci-management change error

2017-09-27 Thread Jessica Wagantall via RT
Dear Lusheng,

We really discourage developers from using the Gerrit UI for making changes
into your gerrits.
The reason is because it can be faulty at times and it might not have the
results you are looking for.

I would suggest you make your changes locally:
- Clone the repo and checkout origin/master
- Cherry-pick your change into your local tree
- Make your changes
- Git add
- Git commit --amend
- Git push

Let me know if this works better

Hi Gary,

Small technical question, in my test I need to know what is the host IP of VM
that my test is executed on.

So I'm trying to get the IP from eth0 interface, but it seems that there is no
such interface

03:11:08 ifconfig eth0

03:11:08 cut '-d ' -f3

Could you please help me understand how to get the IP?

Many thanks in advance,

[onap-discuss] [integration] RE: docker packaging

2017-09-27 Thread Gary Wu
We currently only have a high level description of the flow here:

https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Docker+Image+Build+Guidelines

The actual details is up to each team to decide. I assume each team is already
knowledgeable about creating docker images in general. With regard to specific
implementation in ONAP, there are 3 main ways:

1. A docker pom.xml using the spotify plugin

2. A docker pom.xml using the fabric8 plugin

3. No docker pom.xml, just a place Dockerfile with a shell script to run
“docker build”

The best way to proceed with any of the above currently is to take a look at
how other projects have done so in their JJBs in ci-management.

Thanks,
Gary

Hi Deng,
I am working on unit testing as we speak (junit, for Sonar).
The java checker is available at three levels: api, cli and service. The
service (a layer on top of the api) can be packaged as a microservice (docker
image??). Can you please point me to some manual on how I can go about doing
the packaging?

Hi Serban

Modeling CIST testing has been publicly warned by Integration team in F2F event,
When can you kindly help to finish CIST testing for javatoscaparser? Thanks a
lot

Gary,

We have two now : NFV Parser, (ZTE, Python, Zhaoxin), JAVATOSCAchecker (AT,
Java, Serban),

1) For NFV Parser,it’s Python, shouldn’t have any issue for SONAR, it is
doesn’t support micro service, is only a lib, couldn’t have a docker, so can’t
do CSIT, hope it is for you

2) For java toscaparser, not sure whether it support micro service or not,
Serban is kindly hard working on it.

Thanks a lot

Hi Srini,

With respect to the ‘Failed to get models’ was this the problem you saw:
https://jira.onap.org/browse/VID-20 - Failed to get service models from ASDC in
VID? This problem was closed with the resolution ‘Cannot Reproduce’.

Pulling the ONAP containers from Nexus can unfortunately take a long time –
I’ve heard of it taking three hours. This only happens with the initial pull
but it’s the one you care most about.

Cheers,

Greetings DeWayne,

Gerrit itself doesn't support archiving of the git repositories. That
being said, if you browse the project listing you'll see a 'gitweb' link
which brings you to a gitweb interface which does support that.

Additionally, when looking at any change in Gerrit you should also see
gitweb links against the change itself as well as the parent, which will
link you into the appropriate location in the gitweb view.

There is also a cgit view of the repositories available @
https://git.onap.org. Archiving is also available there.

Finally, we do have a work item on our plate to get all of the live
repos mirroring into GitHub. It's not been a big priority though as it's
a lot of busy work that burns time better spent in community support at
present.

[onap-discuss] Thursday Paris F2F schedule changes

2017-09-27 Thread Kenny Paul
I have finished making the schedule updates to the wiki based upon the
direction provided to change the time of the M4 review tomorrow. Please look as
there are major changes throughout.

Please note that there is much unavoidable over-lap with multiple sessions that
the same people are interested in attending. - in one case this represents 37
people that were previously signed up for two sessions that will now be
required to pick between one session or the other. There is nothing that can be
done to remedy that.

If the color is red, something has changed.

Dear Gary,

Since we are using an ubuntu machine, I have built a new ubuntu image which you
can check here:

google-chrome-stable seems to be getting properly installed.

Although, I am still facing the same issue in the job:

https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__jenkins.onap.org_job_portal-2Dmaster-2Dverify-2Dcsit-2Dtestsuite_31_console=DwIDaQ=LFYZ-o9_HUMeMTSQicvjIg=t6xw3To2DNA95dIV83mG2w=dgQXqWWQ9f0bMvWwbAVknLkj-jfL315qdaEJRpNNP3A=vEd-VpEXUu4Np8CAndEzbpQRM46Y9ktxVBNZMeFsm40=

Could there be something else missing?

Dear Gary,

Since we are using an ubuntu machine, I have built a new ubuntu image which you
can check here:

https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__jenkins.onap.org_view_packer_job_ci-2Dmanagement-2Dpacker-2Dmerge-2Dubuntu-2D16.04-2Ddocker_7_console=DwIDaQ=LFYZ-o9_HUMeMTSQicvjIg=t6xw3To2DNA95dIV83mG2w=dgQXqWWQ9f0bMvWwbAVknLkj-jfL315qdaEJRpNNP3A=qFqD96MUzIZZZko9GY2sN76I-5wtOFcLzeCoWm6FeQE=

google-chrome-stable seems to be getting properly installed.

Although, I am still facing the same issue in the job:

https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__jenkins.onap.org_job_portal-2Dmaster-2Dverify-2Dcsit-2Dtestsuite_31_console=DwIDaQ=LFYZ-o9_HUMeMTSQicvjIg=t6xw3To2DNA95dIV83mG2w=dgQXqWWQ9f0bMvWwbAVknLkj-jfL315qdaEJRpNNP3A=vEd-VpEXUu4Np8CAndEzbpQRM46Y9ktxVBNZMeFsm40=

Could there be something else missing?

Thanks!

Hi Kishore,

I tried to to run your test suite in my local machine, and it also failed.

The error is:

02:10:35 ++ mkdir -p /PROJECT/OpenSource/UbuntuEP/etc
02:10:35 mkdir: cannot create directory ‘/PROJECT’: Permission denied

The same error was also observed on the LF CSIT environment.

I don’t know if this is related to the selenium errors, but please make sure
that you’re able to use run-csit.sh to run the tests successfully in your local
environment without root privileges before submitting to gerrit.

Thanks,
Gary

Hi Guangrong

Rather than checking out source and trying to install from source,
can you do a:

pip install onap-dcae-cli

instead?

Note: The onboarding env is not completely setup so your dcae-cli
will work in a limited capacity.

As a requirement, you will need a local postgres server running.
A fast way to get postgres running is to run a docker instance.
See the README in the dcae-cli project for more details on "Local
use".

Thanks

So far, if nobody fixed that bug, I expect that's still exist.

I will made a redeployment later.

Looks like that a database driver is missing in the image? Strange ...

Now I'm in the right conversation.

Same with us.

Is there anything changed on the portal app?

Andrei and Alex

Our key modeling implementers will not be available with enough time this
afternoon after TSC meeting, that will be really hard to discuss it.
So we have no choice only this morning

Thanks for your understanding

Deng Hui,

The R2 VNF modeling work is being led by Andy as part of the VNF SDK project

model definition to actually hear the inputs... :) Otherwise, I don't see the

including those who are leading the work - Chris, Andy, others. Chris is on

Hello all

We haven't finished yesterday session, let's continue 10:30-11:30 this morning
in the meeting room (Algebre), 2nd floor.
Agenda would be :

1) SDC feedback to VNF modeling

2) VFC feedback to VNF modeling

3) Summary of VNF Modeling

4) OSM modeling comparison

Apologies to US remote attendees, we couldn't conflict with TSC meeting in the
afternoon.

Thanks a lot for your attending

2017-09-27 Thread Gaurav agrawal
Hi Maopeng,

Let me provide my understanding on this topic, @Yang Xu please add to it.

This is required in case of VoLTE use case wherein SDNC needs to associate
local network within datacenter to a VXLAN tunnel available between datacenters
(edge and core). In this regard we expect user to input the network name and
find the associated networkId in SDNC by referring to the local network
information added by VFC in A

Input from UUI

Hi Maopeng and VFC team,

SDNC team needs to know some information about the networks created by VFC,
e.g. network id and subnet. Where does VFC store the network information in
A? Can you point to us A node and attributes used for such information?
An A query example would be greatly appreciated.

[onap-discuss] ci-management change error

2017-09-27 Thread JI, LUSHENG (LUSHENG)
Hi,

I was trying to edit a change made to the ci-management project to address a
reviewer comment using the Gerrit UI. After completing the edit, when I tried
to publish the edit, I got the “not Signed-off-by author/committer/uploader in
commit message footer” error. This is the change:
https://gerrit.onap.org/r/#/c/15733,edit/

Moreover, the commit message of my change was automatically tagged with a
“Parent: 72cabb62 (Merge "Install chrome to support ChromeDriver in CSIT")”
line, which is not mine and I have no idea how it was added.

Any suggestion on how to proceed?

Thanks,
