Hi Carol,
There does not appear to be a way to delete a penalty once it's archived
through either the xul or web client. It would need to be deleted directly
from the database.
Hope this is helpful.

Hi Chauncey,
Currently there is no way to change the hold type once it's been placed.
See this Launchpad bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1738021
It would be a useful feature in many situations.

Hi Dana,
It's not clear to me whether you are using the xul or web client, but when
updating holds to SMS notifications, you need to provide the *text carrie*r
as well as the *text number*. Evergreen won't accept the text number unless
there is a carrier selected.
In the xul client, you need to
Hi Scott,
To expand on what Terran suggests, you may also want to turn on the
following columns in the staff client hold screens when viewing those
screens in the patron record or on the title:
Email Notify
Phone Notify
Text Notify
This way it's easy for staff to see the notification methods
Hi Jennifer,
I wonder if you are also running into a related bug:

Hi Johnnie,
NOBLE implemented Traditional with Holds Always Go Home Best-Hold

there are any holds for pickup at the owning library.
We actually tweaked it a bit, removing approx and aprox. Since we do not
adjust proximity,
We are wondering how other libraries are working around this bug:

In short, for hourly loan periods and fine rates, library closings are
ignored in the calculation of due dates and fines. Fines are charged even

-- for example, some place a high value on providing a consistent

be a difference between what is technically possible and what fits
within a consortium's policies.

There may be several receipt templates you need to edit.

Jayaraj,
You need to wrap some formatting around date variable to do this. Here’s one
way:

In NOBLE, we recommend checking in new items using the Checkin Modifiers
“Retarget Local Holds” (for In Process items) and, if necessary, “Retarget all
statuses” if items are in statuses other than In Process. Doing this looks for
“local holds for the new items, but not holds for pickup at
(they only get changed to that status in
the first place as they are holds we can't find).

Janet,
There is a library setting Patron Registration
of patrons. So you can,
for example, remove a patron from a family group and still have them using a
linked address. You can delete a linked address from a patron and it won't
hurt any other users sharing or owning that address.
