i have a vmware image of evergreen 1.4.0.6 which i run in vmware
workstation.
i am able to run it okay.
the specs of my machine are quite low.2g ram, 1.7 gz.i gave the virtual
machine i think 1.2 gig of ram for my virtual machine.so i think your specs
are okay.
for windows i prefer vmware
you could install an ssh client and connect to the virtual machine
using the ip that you would give to it .vmware workstation has two
options i think for connecting the virtual machine .host only and
connect to phyiscal network
.with host only you dont need to connect to a physical network .u can

i think you could also run some reports if you want a more extensive
list of all items by a particular barcode
or all circulations by a particular person.
report could include libraries they borrowed the books from etc..
for a simple list this is perfect for a more detailed and
